What is a Living Flower Arrangement?
A living flower arrangement is a container garden that utilizes flowering bulbs to create an ever-changing and long-lasting floral display. Living flower arrangements can be grown and enjoyed outdoors during the plants' normal bloom time or indoors utilizing a technique called forcing. You can read more about forcing in last week’s blog post here or you can check out my shop for winter forcing kits that make a great gift.
DIY Plant it and Forget it Container Gardens
The great thing about bulb container gardens is that you can plant them up now and overwinter them in a sheltered place and pretty much forget about them until Spring. As a busy mom, these were a total game changer for me and my front porch! Last year I only watered mine once the whole winter and it turned out beautifully. TOTAL WIN!🙌
To make this even simpler and more efficient for you, I’ve curated living flower arrangement containers that are easy to assemble yourself or I can assemble them for you. These container gardens feature specialty daffodils, tulips, anemones, and grape hyacinths that you cannot find in big box stores. I have crafted these kits so that you will have a beautiful and long-lasting spring show without having to think, research, and order all the things. I have an all-white option available as well as a pink, purple, and white pastel option. You can order one directly from this blog post below or in my shop. 👇
If you would rather go with the complete DIY approach and choose your own bulbs, I’ve created an e-book with instructions on how to assemble and over-winter your arrangements. It includes 4 bonus recipes as well.
