October 2024: Farm & Life Update

Green and white sock with a turtle on it

Dear Flower Friends,

With the encouragement of my husband and a neighbor this week, I decided against writing a formal blog/educational post. This is one of the busiest times for me because it’s when I get to plant the most. As a farmer focused on perennials, fall is truly the best time of year for me to be out in the garden. One day this week, I was getting dressed and grabbed this pair of Michael’s running socks with a turtle on them. Believe it or not, these socks stopped me in my tracks…pun intended.😂 I reached for these socks for a reason. They remind me to slow down. They reminded me that Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will the garden of my dreams be either. Sometimes we need these gentle reminders be it for our gardens or for other aspects of our lives. So today, I’m just going to share some pictures of my week from working on the farm to creating memories with the kids. I hope you enjoy a peek inside my world.👀 And thank you for being a part of it too. If I haven’t met you yet or if we are good friends, know that I’m glad you are here on this journey with me. Thank you!

As always, Keep Blooming,

Nicole Dillon
